Atlantic City Hilton sued by Tony Sirico

The Sopranos’ Tony “Paulie Walnuts” Sirico is suing the Atlantic City Hilton. The case stemmed from the illegal use by Atlantic City Hilton of the picture of Sirico on the advertisement on the billboard.

The billboard advertisement shows Sirico wearing a sharp blue suit with white winged tresses and playing at a roulette table. The billboard had a banner “where else can you gamble with the family?”

Sirico legal representative said that it’s an invasion of his client privacy because Sirico never gave the hotel permission to use the picture in an advertisement.

Sirico had agreed to grace the meet and greet event at the casino for two hundred sixty thousand dollars and after finishing his obligation to the casino, he and five of his cast mates had decided to play.

He played using his own money on his own time and his playing there does not have any involvement to his contractual obligations towards the Hilton and the event that he had graced were already finished.

A photographer had come up to Sirico and without his permission, took photos of him while he was playing.

The lawsuit is asking for damages for invasion of privacy, breach of contract, and consumer fraud.
